(Filed Under Wholesale Swimwear News). Lima, Peru-based swimwear manufacturer Aguaclara’s 2011 collection focuses on exotic prints and feminine styles inspired by the South American country’s majestic mountain ranges and jungles.
The collection includes 11 different style ranges aimed at sexy and sophisticated women of all ages: Selva Virgen, Brillo Amazonico, Savana, Capri, Playa Mediterranea, Cabo Verde, Brisa del Mar, Safari, Paraiso Terrenal, Valle Sagrado and Laguna Azul. The styles reflect designer Liliana Villalobos’ love of Peru with exclusively made animal prints, vibrant patterns and nature-inspired hues. Many of the ranges include several mix-and-match options to customize a perfect swimwear look, including triangle bikini tops, halter tops, tankini tops, bandeau tops, scoop bottoms, side-tie bottoms, Brazilian bottoms, one-pieces and cover-ups.
The styles, available in sizes S to XL, are manufactured in Peru and shipped from Miami, Fla. Wholesale price points range from $20.80 to $67 for tops, $20.80 to $31.70 for bottoms, $45.80 to $62.50 for one-pieces and $24.20 to $93.30 for cover-ups. Suggested retail prices range from $86 to $102 for tops, $58 to $79 for bottoms, $135 to $169 for one-pieces and $64 to $233 for cover-ups. No minimum order is required for retailers.
