(Filed Under retail Lingerie News). Josie Natori, the designer behind Natori and Josie by Natori intimate apparel and loungewear brands, has announced she will introduce a limited edition collection for Target stores.
Target has successfully collaborated with many high-end designers to produce lower-cost collections to be sold exclusively in their stores, including Alexander McQueen and Jean Paul Gaultier. Natori’s collection, Josie Natori for Target, will be the mega retailer’s first designer intimate apparel collection.
Josie Natori for Target will include bras, panties, camisoles, chemises, sleepwear and loungewear that will retail in the $9.99 to $34.99 range. The collection will be available in Target stores in two installments — the holiday collection will be in stores from Oct. 30, 2011 to Dec. 25, 2011, and the second installment will be available from Jan. 1, 2012 to Feb. 26, 2012, in time for Valentine’s Day gift-giving.
The Natori brand is a producer of lingerie, loungewear, sleepwear, ready-to-wear, home, eyewear and fragrance lines. Target Corp. operates approximately 1,750 stores in 49 states.
