(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Canadian lingerie manufacturer Hertex has entered the U.S. market with the debut of their Levusha lingerie brand.
Levusha, which means "well dressed" in Latin and Aramaic, features intimate apparel styles including bras, sports bras, briefs, bikinis, boyshorts, thongs, camisoles, leggings and control bottoms. Many styles are available in a variety of colors, patterns and feature fabrics like ribbed cotton, satin, spandex and lace trim. Wholesale price points range from $2 to $4 for panties, $5.25 to $8 for camisoles and $12 for bras. Retailers must place a $250 minimum order. Sizes range from 32 to 40, A to D for bras and S to XL for most bottoms and loungewear, with plans to expand into plus sizes in the future.
Joel Herzog, president of the Levusha brand in the U.S., stated that the company’s mission is to provide American boutiques, specialty stores and Internet retailers with well-priced, well-made lingerie and daywear for today’s women. "Specialty stores and boutiques have not been able to compete with department stores on prices," he said. "Now with our resources and experience, they can do that, and at great margins."
For over 30 years, Hertex Manufacturing has been a major intimate apparel supplier to Canadian department and specialty stores including The Bay, La Vie En Rose, Simon’s and Sears. The Levusha brand is based in New York, with offices in Queens and a distribution center in Brooklyn.
