(Filed Under Wholesale Swimwear News). Brazilian men’s swimwear company BoyRio has announced a preview of their 2012 collection.
The new collection features low-cut lined styles in bold blues as well as classic white, black and a red-orange. Additionally, a new line of retro-style lined sunga swimsuits, inspired by classic beachwear from the 1960s and ’70s, take the classic Brazilian cut and add a slightly higher waist and looser fit, allowing the wearer to "scrunch" the fabric on the sides to allow for more exposure if he wants. The sunga suits come in color combinations of gray and yellow; gray and red; green, yellow and blue; red, white and blue; and classic red.
All suits are made with high-quality Lycra in Brazil and ship from a distribution center in the U.S. The garments come in sizes S to L with a wholesale price range of $23 to $26 and a suggested retail price range of $49 to $65.
Launched in 2007, BoyRio swimwear is available at retailers across the U.S., including BODYBODY in Provincetown, Mass. and Rainbows and Triangles in New York City. The 2012 collection will be introduced at the South Beach Men’s Show at Gemma Lounge in Miami Beach, Fla. on July 15, 2011.
