(Filed Under retail Lingerie News). Hanesbrands is implementing a new graphic apparel manufacturing process that could potentially revolutionize the way such garments are produced, and is holding an event to let people learn more.
Hanes Ink, the graphic apparel division of Hanes, will be implementing a few "fabric to finish" method that will allow retailers and consumers access to on-trend apparel in 10 to 12 weeks rather than the regular production range of six months to one year. The new manufacturing process will accommodate better trend forecasting and will allow buyers and retailers to estimate more accurate quantities.
An event will be held for industry professionals to meet Hanes Ink designers, learn more about Hanes Ink’s new methods and the ways the company is currently influencing designs and trends in fashion apparel. This media event will be held Tuesday, July 12 at 11 a.m. at Hanes Ink, located on the seventh floor of 16 E. 34th St. in New York City. Attendees may check in as early as 10:30 and car service may be available upon request.
