(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Florida-based corset manufacturer Eurotique has released After Dark Fashion Corsets, a line of affordable corsets aimed at "the entry-level corset market."
Eurotique wished to offer a full corset alternative to bustiers, which many companies incorrectly refer to as corsets. The After Dark collection will allow first-time wearers to experience the shaping benefits, structure and sexiness of a corset at price points normally reserved for bustiers.
"Eurotique has improved the manufacturing process and built upon our past success with this new line of corsets," stated Chrissy Greico, Chief Executive Office of Eurotique. "We have improved quality and lowered costs to make our corsets extremely cost-effective for more stores to carry."
Eurotique also allows for customization of their corsets. "If we show you a corset in black satin, and you want it in red with a black ruffle, we will make it," said Erica Meyer of Eurotique. "Our customers can choose off-the-rack designs or make it their own."
The After Dark collection is comprised of European-made corsets in a variety of fabrics, styles and colors that include a modesty panel and garters. They are fully lined and feature stainless spiral steel boning and a stainless steel busk or zipper. The corsets wholesale for $35 with a recommended retail range of $79 to $89 and are available in sizes XS to 5X. Retailers must order a minimum of 10 pieces and all items ship from Florida.
Eurotique has been manufacturing corsets for nearly 20 years and has products available in over 100 retailers in the United States, Canada and Japan.
In additional news, Eurotique has expanded their sales team, adding Kimberly Buehrle as a New England sales representative and Erica Meyer to manage the company's new in-house wholesale division.
