(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). CurveNY opened Sunday with solid traffic and a truly impressive array of lingerie and swim brands with many exhibitors reported a strong first day. According to show director Jean Luc Teinturier, “we were close to 1000 buyers,” entering the first day, which is “an increase from last year.”
Particularly impressive was the number of new companies and brands on display, providing even the most jaded an extra reason to explore the aisles. One strong new presence at the show: swimwear, with almost 70 brands on display. Several informative seminars are part of this year’s show, in addition to a raffle which has already raised $5000 to fight breast cancer.
Today we post a few stories, focusing on some of the new exhibitors. With two more days of the show to go, and much more to see, look for lots of additional reporting in the days ahead.
