
(Filed Under retail Lingerie News). Vince Woolgar has joined Peekay, Inc. as C.E.O. following an extensive nationwide search.
Woolgar has over 20 years of experience in executive leadership and management roles. He most recently served as the senior vice president of operations for Frederick’s of Hollywood.

Peekay has been expanding its leadership team over the past several months. In addition to Woolgar, Peekay employee Phy Abramson took on a new role as chief financial officer. Jeremy Owen, former director of merchandising with the Seattle Sonics, joined Peekay as director of merchandising and inventory. Martin Walker joined Peekay in January 2011 as director of marketing and visual merchandising. David Leigh was promoted to director of retail sales in February 2011.
"We are fortunate to have Vince join the Peekay team," said Peekay founder and chairperson of the board Phyllis Heppenstall. "Expansion and acquisition plans will move forward at an accelerated pace with the dynamic leadership team we now have."
Heppenstall founded Peekay, Inc. in 1981. The company operates over 30 stores in California and Washington as well as online stores and a wholesale business.
