(Filed Under Fashion News). Eveden Inc., a company that designs and manufactures lingerie and swimwear under the Fantasie, Freya, Fauve and Goddess brands, has announced that it will be moving its customer service operation for the U.S. and Canada to the UK.
The company issued a statement citing the move as a result of “the current volatile worldwide economic climate and in particular, the recession in the U.S. market.”
The company’s facility in Monroe, Georgia will be closing resulting in the loss of ten jobs. It is anticipated that the transition will be complete by mid-March.
This change does not affect the sales, distribution or finance teams based in Dedham, Massachusetts and in the field.
In additional news, in the second quarter of 2009, Eveden will be launching a new ERP system, which will “enable the business to operate on one system globally, which will greatly improve the business and position it for future growth.”
