(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). Frederick’s of Hollywood Group, Inc. has named Don Jones president and chief operating officer.
Jones succeeds Linda LoRe, who served as company president from 1999 to 2009 and resigned as president of the retail division on September 2. Jones will report to Frederick’s of Hollywood chairman and C.E.O. Thomas Lynch.
Jones brings more than 35 years of fashion and consumer product experience to Frederick’s of Hollywood, having held executive and managerial positions with leading retail companies including Target Corp., Macy’s, IKEA, Filene’s and notably Gap Inc., where he served as senior vice president of stores and operations and led the rollout of Gap Body. He was most recently C.E.O. of POGAN Retail, LLC, which he founded in 2003 to provide strategic counsel to retail organizations including Liz Claiborne Inc.

Frederick’s of Hollywood Group, Inc. operates 120 stores as well as the e-commerce site Fredericks.com and mails 15.3 million catalogs a year.
