Hanesbrands Promotes Moss to C.F.O.

(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Hanesbrands announced that it has promoted Richard D. Moss to the position of chief financial officer, starting immediately.

"I am pleased to announce Rick’s well-deserved promotion to C.F.O.," said Hanes chairman and C.E.O. Richard A. Noll. "Rick has been an instrumental member of the Hanes finance team since the company’s spinoff and has played an integral role in our success."

Moss, 53, has served as treasurer for Hanesbrands since 2006. Prior to joining the company, he held senior financial positions with Chattem, Inc.; Sealy Mattress Co.; and Saturn Corp., a subsidiary of General Motors. Moss will report directly to Noll.

Hanesbrands also announced the appointment of Gerald W. Evans, Jr. and William J. Nictakis as co-chief operating officers and Dale W. Boyles as operating chief financial officer.

"Dale will play a critical role in supporting Gerald and Bill in the success of our company’s day-to-day operations," stated Noll.

Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Hanesbrands spun off from the Sara Lee Corporation in 2006.
