(Filed Under retail Lingerie News). U.K. retailing giant Marks & Spencer has launched a new line of bridal lingerie, inspired in part by the royal wedding.
To unveil the collection, models strolled around and posed in the pieces outside of the Goring Hotel in Victoria, London, where Duchess Kate Middleton spent her last night as a single woman and prepared for her wedding to Prince William.
The vintage-inspired line includes a molded bra, a multiway bra, bikini panties, high-rise waist-cinching panties, a shaping bodysuit, a basque and a negligee, all made from ivory-colored satin, silk and lace. Hosiery and garters round out the collection, which retails for £12 to £45, or approximately $18 to $69.
Marks & Spencer has over 600 stores in the U.K. and 300 additional stores in 40 more countries around the world.
