(Filed Under Textiles News). Sensitive Fabrics, a division of Italian textile manufacturer EuroJersey, has released three different fabric trends for 2013 swimwear and beachwear styles.
Sensitive Fabrics’ first line, It’s Time for Africa, introduces warm, familiar earth tones of terra cotta and ochre marked with vivid red henna and cobalt blue to evoke African culture. Geometric lines and shapes create patterns that conjure up traditional desert and safari themes.
The second trend, Cyclorama, creates an intense polychromatic effect by combining bright shades of turquoise, gold and pomegranate with softer shades of peach, yellow and blue in prints reminiscent of artists’ canvases: floral petals, broad brushstrokes, varying shape sizes and graffiti-inspired graphics.
The final trend, Digital Colours, features fluorescent crimson, gold, pink, teal, turquoise and violet in cool shades that evoke the bright colors commonly found radiating from laptops, tablets and plasma or HD television screens, reflecting the effect of technology in modern life.
EuroJersey’s Sensitive Fabrics is based in Caronno Pertusella, Italy and manufactures textiles for swimwear, beachwear, loungewear and intimate apparel use.
