(Filed Under Event News). The Intimate Apparel Square Club, a 56-year-old charitable organization of industry professionals, has announced that the host of the 2011 H.U.G. Award Gala honoring Ann Deal will be "Real Housewives of New York City" star Sonja Morgan.
"We are thrilled to have Sonja Morgan as our emcee," said Intimate Apparel Square Club president Norma Reinhardt Mascarotti. "She brings glamour, charm and a passion for charitable work to our H.U.G. Gala and we’re excited to have her at our event honoring Ann Deal of Fashion Forms. It’s going to be a fabulous night of fundraising to benefit the children of Rusk Institute."
The H.U.G. (Help Us Give) Award Gala is the part of the IASC’s initiative to raise money for the Howard A. Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine/Pediatric Unit of NYU Medical Center. The IASC has raised approximately $2.5 to $3 million for the Rusk Institute in the years since the club was founded.
