(Filed Under Wholesale Swimwear News). U.K.-based luxury beachwear brand Paolita has unveiled its spring/summer 2012 beachwear lines, Voyage and Floreana.
Designer Anna Paola, who studied and worked with Alexander McQueen, has focused on creating swimwear that highlights the female form and enhances the silhouette. Feminine detailing includes gingham ruffles, bodice detailing, floral prints and sexy cut-outs.
The Voyage collection, inspired by historical seafaring explorers, is comprised of one- and two-piece suits with a heavy emphasis on nautical stripes in red, fern green and blue. The Floreana collection, inspired by the exotic Galapagos Islands, takes lingerie-inspired structured swimwear and employs bold colors in floral and paisley prints.
Paolita’s beachwear styles are available in sizes S to XL, with structured bra-cup swimwear tops accommodating sizes A to D. Accessories, including hooded beach cover-ups and turban-style headwear, is one-size-fits-all. Retail prices range from approximately $75 to $275, with a wholesale range of approximately $30 to $130. Items are handcrafted and shipped from the United Kingdom.
Paolita beachwear is available in specialty shops in 11 countries around the world in addition to U.K.-based online retailers and paolita.co.uk.
