(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Maidenform Brands, Inc. announced the appointment of Malcolm Robinson as company president, effective immediately.
Robinson was most recently group president of wholesale sportswear at Phillips Van Heusen, where he oversaw brands including Izod, Arrow, Timberland, Geoffrey Beene and Van Heusen. He previously served as executive vice president of the Gant Corporation and executive vice president of sales, merchandising and licensing at Regatta Sport, Inc.
"We are very excited that Malcolm is joining Maidenform," stated company C.E.O. Maurice Reznik. "He is a highly seasoned retail executive with over 25 years’ experience in the apparel industry. We look forward to his contributions in a broad range of decisions as we move the company forward."
Robinson will be responsible for overseeing domestic sales at Maidenform as well as the direct-to-consumer, marketing, design, product development and merchandising departments.
New York-based Maidenform Brands designs, sources and markets intimate apparel and shapewear brands in 64 countries and territories worldwide.
