(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). After being placed in judicial administration by a court in Lyon, French lingerie company Lejaby is the subject of a sale order.
According to the French bureau of the Associated Press, president of Palmers Textil AG Raymond Mahé stated that the company does not have the financial capacity to support a continuation plan for Lejaby. Palmers has owned Lejaby since 2008.
Court administration officials have set a closing date for bids for the lingerie company by the end of November. Selected bidders will preset their offers before the court in mid-December.
The company’s restructuring thus far has reportedly led to 200 job cuts among the 450 Lejaby employees.
