(Filed Under Financial and General Interest News). Syms Corp. has announced it is auctioning its intellectual property assets as part of its liquidation process.

Hilo Streambank, an intellectual property marketing branch of a holding company, is auctioning the assets, which include the Syms and Filene’s Basement trade names, the Running of the Brides trademark, Internet URLs and other trademarks.

Seacaucus, N.J.-based Syms Corp. filed for Chapter 11 on Nov. 2 in a Delaware court. Syms and Filene’s Basement stores began conducting going-out-of-business sales on Nov. 16.
