(Filed Under retail Lingerie News). Vancouver-based corset retailer Lace Embrace Atelier has unveiled its 2012 antique corsets calendar, the sales of which will go to the creation of an antique corset museum.
The full-color calendar is printed on high-quality card stock and could serve as a unique collectible for lingerie and corset enthusiasts or any aficionados of the Victorian era. The corsets featured in the calendar date from 1800 to 1950, all from the private collection of Lace Embrace owner Melanie Talkington, who has been raising funds to secure permanent public exhibition space for her corsets.
The calendar retails for $18.99. Autographed copies are available at Lace Embrace Atelier, 219 E. 16th Ave., Vancouver, B.C. The calendar is also available in other select Vancouver retailers as well as Craigdarroch Castle and Bolen Books in Victoria, B.C.; in the United States at Lacis in Berkeley, Calif. and Around the World Fashion Publications in New York City; and online through LaceEmbrace.com, CorsetMaking.com and Amazon.com.
