(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Oh La La Cheri, the Florida-based lingerie firm that sells in both the sexy and traditional categories, continues to expand with the hiring of 4 new employees.
The first is Kristina Engen who will serve as designer. She has an extensive lingerie background. One previous job was working on Sexy Little Things at Victoria’s Secret. Another recent hire in the design area is Cynthia Mancuso, also a Victoria’s Secret alumna, who worked in their foundation department in New York City.
Company president Nicolas Attard declared that to service “our growing clientele, we have added one more account executive who will be managing mostly our East coast customers. She comes from the fashion industry, but is a newcomer to the intimate apparel business, having most recently served in sales for a large apparel brand name.” He added her identity will be released at the beginning of February when she officially joins the staff.
Oh La La Cheri also recently hired Anna Pillman to serve as customer service representative.
In other evidence of growth, Oh La La Cheri moved to a new facility in Miami at the end of last year, expanding both its warehouse and executive office spaces. The new address is: 122-124 Se 1st St. Miami, FL 33131.
According to Attard, “ We have had a two-digit increase every year for the past three years and mostly with the same staff.” The personnel expansion is necessary to “sustain the growth and also to keep a very high standard of customer service. Besides, I feel that 2012 is a crucial year for us as we are introducing our new Big Book 2012-13 with more styles, a new panty category with over 20 styles and a new bridal collection.”
Finally, the company recently updated the brand image and launched “ a new web site to help support the new branding. So far, comments on both branding and web site from customers, sales reps and other partners of our company are extremely positive,” said Attard.
