As Leonisa launches its 2012 swim collection it is emphasizing one its guiding philosophies: to make its customers feel more confident and attractive instead of vulnerable on the beach. “The ideal look is no longer the underfed model-thin figure,” declared Octavio Quintana, vp of Leonisa USA. “At Leonisa, our latest designs are influenced by this welcome trend and we are glad our swimwear helps to improve the lives of our customers with appealing new styles that are major confidence boosters.”
This year’s collection contains a wide range of silhouettes including bikinis, one piece and monokinis, and tankinis, many of which are designed with added control in the stomach, rear and hip areas, adjustable straps, removable padding, breathable materials, molded cups and under wires. According to a company statement accompanying the release, “Leonisa’s 2012 swimwear line is filled with new designs that can help every woman feel better about hitting the beach or pool this summer.”
