(Filed Under Event News). The Halloween & Party Expo has announced that despite the next show being nearly 10 months away, the Expo floor is more than 80 percent contracted.
Jonathan Erwin of the Halloween & Party Expo attributed the popularity to how well the show turned out in 2012 for both exhibitors and buyers. “We had a substantial number of exhibitors report positive feedback, both in terms of overall experience and order volume,” said Erwin.
“And that makes sense, as our registration numbers increased over 2011. With the economic picture brightening, we are confident that we will continue to grow in 2013.”
The number of international buyers at the 2012 show had also registered growth from previous years, noted Erwin. “With our increasing number of buyers from outside the U.S., we really are the global show for this industry.”
One such international buyer, Peter Love of the Party Space in Australia said, “You guys over here in America do retail very, very well. We’re having a great time and seeing lots of new supplies.”
Erwin explained that Houston, Texas, where the show is held, is a central location that is convenient for both domestic and international visitors. “We’re pleased to continue to call Houston home and to welcome our friends from around the globe,” said Erwin.
The next exhibition is scheduled for January 19-22, 2012. More information on the Expo can be found at www.HalloweenPartyExpo.com.
