The book focuses on “strong women with a mission to create a new and better world,” according to a spokesperson, and contains both portraits and stories. Manougian was chosen “due to her own inspiring story of cancer survival, followed by a desire to help others throughout the region, who are also afflicted with the dreaded disease.”

The book and tour events support A Billion Fearless Women, the sister charity of Fearless Women Global, “whose mission is to bring a billion women together globally to generate and support projects that create a more compassionate, equitable, healthy world.
