(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Soak Wash, the specialized cleaning solution for intimates, has just introduced a new size: 3 ounce bottles. Meanwhile, one retailer reports big sales in Canada.
Jacqueline Salva, president of the firm, explained some of the reasoning behind the launch of the new size. The bottles are “flight friendly and made from 100% post-consumer resin. Good for you, good for the environment. All fragrances come in this size, including our newest scent, Lacey. They’re also outfitted with our new branding. The suggested retail price is $10 for the three ounce bottle, which should provide over 18 separate washes. Perfect for travel.”
While doing interviews for BODY Magazine, we asked Marianne Hassan owner of BraChic, a lingerie specialty store in Ontario Canada, if she was carrying any non-intimate apparel products that made a strong value-add for her business. Hassan responded, “Soak is easy. As a store we love it!” She added, “Women have busy lives, the mere mention of hand washing is usually met with eye rolling. Since we have been selling Soak, hand washing is more likely to happen, as it is so easy. Customers love easy. We want our products to have long lasting value to our customers and remain in peak condition. Using SOAK will help achieve this.”
Asked how Soak compared to intimates, Hassan reported, “In 2011 we sold 1187 bottles of Soak. In our Hanky Panky line of thongs, we sold over 670 pairs.”
Soak Wash is based in Ontario Canada and is available in hundreds of boutiques and specialty stores around the world.
