(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Fashion stylist and advisor Rachel Zoe has created for Jockey a “curated selection of “major must-have”” shapewear and intimates that will be available in stores starting in October.
“Each carefully selected item marries Jockey’s trusted expertise in creating comfortable, stylish, solution-based apparel with Zoe’s enviable style and sophistication,” according to a Jockey spokesperson. Zoe’s book (co-written with Rose Apodaca) made the New York Times best seller list, and in 2005 Zoe debuted “The Rachel Zoe Project” on Bravo, which “airs in over 20 countries worldwide,” according to Jockey. “Today as a designer with her eponymous collection sold in over 275 doors worldwide, and her exclusive collection at QVC, she makes her exceptional taste and expertise accessible to her ever-growing audience.”
“I’m proud to support Jockey’s new initiatives in shapewear and intimates,” said Zoe. “Style starts from within, and having the right foundation is critical to the ultimate success of your outfit. I love marrying comfort with style, and this new collection by Jockey does just that.”
According to Jockey, the shapewear is described as “cotton-rich comfort meets all-day curve control. Featuring a unique, patented three-panel design, this new line includes tanks, shorts, slips, and briefs that are fashionable, comfortable and slimming. Each piece is made with breathable, soft cotton-spandex for all-day comfort.”
The intimates collection includes “bikinis, thongs, hipsters, boy shorts and tanks. The bottoms offer a “cheeky” cut with very modern silhouettes. Each style is available in eye-catching solids and on-trend prints. Fabrications including microfiber modal, nylon and spandex guarantee comfort, while feminine detailing, such as touches of lace, adds a flirty flair,” the Jockey spokesperson explained.
“We are thrilled to be aligned with Rachel on this new, modern collection,” said Dustin Cohn, chief marketing officer at Jockey. “Jockey is heading in an exciting direction and we are honored Rachel is lending her expertise and support to the brand. There is nobody more trusted and respected in the fashion industry.”
