(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Escanté has hired Mark Rosenfeld as its new national sales manager starting immediately. He replaces Stacey Singleton who left the company a short time ago. In the recent past Rosenfeld worked as sales manager at Music Legs and prior to that as a sales representative for Leg Avenue.
“This is a great opportunity to grow a company that has an amazing name in the industry,” Rosenfeld told BODY. He emphasized that the firm has long held three strong brands in Escanté , Dulce Caliente and Tesa (a large corset collection) and operates a large private label business as well. “This company is very well funded and I am looking forward to expanding the brands throughout the industry.”
Although he has just started at the firm, Rosenfeld shared some of his tentative plans. He said he is looking forward to expanding the firm’s offerings in the area of hosiery as well as costumes. Speaking to the latter category, he reported that Escanté has now made plans to attend the Halloween & Party Expo, scheduled for Jan. 19 to 22, 2013 in Houston. ”We will continue to expand our presence in costumes.”
Another priority is in design, he said, stating the company is planning to “expand the design team” and already has “200 plus new sketches” for new styles. “New boxed product” and “new box designs” are also likely going forward.
“Escanté is known for its corsets in the Tesa line,” he continued, and there are plans to “expand and perfect” in that area. “Tesa is known for its excellent fit and versatility.”
The company is also in the process of hiring personnel “to expand our international department.”
“The bones of the company are there” said Rosenfeld, listing the large number of proven styles, strong imagery, well-known brand names and many years of operation. “We look forward to bringing in the best and brightest in the industry to further expand the Escanté name.
