(Filed Under wholesale Sleepwear News). High-performance sleepwear company Goodnighties was featured on a Dec. 12 segment of “ABC News” in which broadcasters Diane Sawyer and David Muir highlighted gift ideas from American manufacturers.
The segment was part of Made in America, an ongoing “ABC News” series focused on American spending during the holiday season — Sawyer claimed 40 percent of yearly U.S. retail shopping occurs between Thanksgiving and Christmas — and how consumers who narrow their focus on products from American companies can not only find innovative products, but also help create jobs and stabilize the U.S. economy.
This is the second time Goodnighties has been featured on a television segment this year — back in April, Dr. Mehmet Oz featured the coompany’s patented ionized sleepwear on the popular “Dr. Oz Show,” leading to a boost in Web sales.
Goodnighties founder Marcia Bacon learned about smart-fabric technology from her husband David when searching for methods to alleviate pain after a series of back and shoulder surgeries. They adapted ionized athleticwear into breathable, soft sleepwear that aids recovery for sore muscles and overall restfulness, wicks moisture and has anti-microbial properties.
The companies mix-and-match designs come in a variety of styles and colors for both men and women with a retail price range of $29.95 to $79.95, with each garment proudly made in and shipping from the United States.
Goodnighties is listed as a retailer on the “ABC News” Made in America Web page. To view select retailers and video clips, visit:
