(Filed Under Textiles News). Italian textile manufacturer Piave Maitex has introduced four new collections that will be shown at Interfilière Paris in January 2013, combining natural inspiration with high-tech materials.
Piave Maitex’s Wonderland line is comprised of lush microfibers perfect for fashionable, sensual lingerie. Both matte and shiny yarns are used in a range of colors — from pastel to vibrant — to create floral, geometric and ethnic-inspired patterns.
Breeze by Piave Maitex is constructed without any chemicals or unnatural fibers to create a soft, downy, completely comfortable range.
The company’s best-selling Oversexy line for shapewear encompasses high-tech synthetic fibers and natural fibers to remain seamless and lightweight.
Finally, the company is debuting an innovative new “cosmeto-textile” with its Tulle Aloe line, featuring embedded microcapsules of aloe vera that remain in the fabric for more than 100 washes to keep the wearer’s skin smooth, fresh and healthy.
Printed and embroidered looks premiering in 2013 focus on pastel laces with pearlescent effects, combining the traditional with the modern; a wide variety of rose patterns in a range of sizes and colors; contemporary microshape patterns in warm colors; a “safari” line in a variety of animal prints; and assorted shades of blue to invoke the water and sky in Mediterranean landscapes.
Piave Maitex SpA is based in the province of Varese, Italy.
