(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Shirley of Hollywood is introducing in 2013 a “Shop Shirley and Save” program designed to provide significant discounts to retailers who increase the amount of business they do with the company compared with the same period in 2012.
According to the Shirley announcement to store owners, “Exceed your purchases from last year, same month, and earn Shirley shopping dollars equal to 20% of the increase. No limits, no exclusions and no sign-up required—just place your orders and at the end of each month, we’ll convert 20% of that month’s increase over the prior year, into Shirley Dollars you can spend on any Shirley merchandise you like.” The notice provides an example. If a store purchased $1000 from Shirley in January, 2012 and increases the purchase to $1500 in January 2013, “You earn $100 Shirley Dollars,” twenty percent of the $500 increase.
“Our retailers love our glamorous Hollywood looks, great quality, great fit and it’s just one more reason to buy Shirley, or any one of our collections,” said Eric Schlobohm, adding that the Shirley Dollars can be used to buy anything in the company’s collection. “Intimate Attitudes for voluptuous sizes, HOT for racy packaged lingerie and hosiery, and always a little something for the men with Gyz. Any and all purchase apply! You shop more, you earn more. And earning 20% back on their increases is a nice kicker. The Shirley incentive dollars will add up fast for our retailers, and it’s a great way for us to say thanks for shopping Shirley!”
The company provided BODY with some additional rules:
“-Shirley Dollars will expire after 30 days, use it or lose it; All purchases on Shirley, Intimate Attitudes, H.O.T, and Gyz, apply. Sales and promotions as well!
-Rewards program dollars are for invoiced items only.
