(Filed Under wholesale Shapewear News). Julie France Body Shapers launched three new styles at the recent Salon International de la Lingerie show in Paris, all from its new seamless, “ultralight” Léger collection: (shown here) the “High-Waist Boy Short,” “Mid-Waist Thong,” (two views) and “Mid-Waist Panty.” Retailers will get their chance to see the shapers in the U.S. at the upcoming February Curve show in New York, as well as the February MAGIC show and April International Lingerie Show, both in Las Vegas.
According to Rodrigo Cano, general manager Eurotard / Julie France Body Shapers, the new items “were received very well in Paris. Customers have already begun to place orders; we expect an even greater response from the USA market.” He noted that this was the company’s fifth time showing at the French show.
According to the Julie France description, the “High Waist Boy Short” features a “shorter leg line for cocktail dresses and skirts,” and “slims and smooths waist, tummy, lower back, hips and thighs,” while at the same time “lifts and defines buttocks.” The garment is made of 72% polyamide, 26% elastane and 2% cotton and comes in black and nude. Sizes S, M, L and XL sell for $41.90, while the larger sizes, 1X, 2X, 3X sell for $47.90.
The new “Mid Waist Panty Shaper,” according to the firm, “provides a visibly smoother and slimmer waist line” while lifting the buttocks. Julie France notes that its mid waist height is “ideal for low back outfits.” Garment content is 72% polyamide, 27% elastane and 1% cotton, and is available in black and nude. Sizes S, M, L, XL are $34.00, and larger sizes 1X, 2X, 3X are $38.00.
The “Mid Waist Thong Shaper” is designed to “slims and smooth waist, tummy and lower back” while revealing “no visible panty line,” according to the company, making it “ideal for low back outfits.” Color, content, sizing and pricing is the same as with the panty shaper.
