(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Perfect System Limited, a Hong Kong-based private label lingerie and swim producer, was at the most recent CurveNY looking to find retailers for its own brands in these categories. Founded in 1998, Perfect did not offer the new labels: Je Dit (“feminine lingerie”), Miss Magic (“young and trendy underwear”), Magic Beach (“swimwear line for fresh and young summer feeling”) and Magic Plus swim until last spring.
According to Jutta Doering-Riel, a principal of the company who was at the CurveNY booth, U.S. retail prices for the Miss Magic bras range from $65 to $68 (and the company’s web site shows 22 bras, six panties and one negligee in that collection). U.S. retail prices for the Je Dit bras range from $75 to $79 (and the web site shows six bras, nine panties and a negligee in that collection).
On the swim side, U.S. retail prices for Magic Beach bikini sets range from $55 to $60 (and the web site shows eight bikinis and six other beachwear pieces). U.S retail prices for the Magic Plus tops range from $90 to $110, and the bottoms are $60. The web site shows a total of three tops, three bottoms and a single one-piece in this collection.
Perfect System, which emphasizes its German origins on its web site, has already exhibited the new lingerie and swimwear at trade shows in Shanghai and Paris, according to Doering-Riel. She explained that, to date, most of her private label business has been with German retailers.
