(Filed Under Fashion News). Beau Monde, a men’s underwear brand produced under Miami-based Great Deals Distributions, Inc. is no longer continuing production.

This news follows the company’s recent announcement of the addition of a new brand: PPU. “We replaced Beau Monde for PPU because Beau Monde was not doing as expected and PPU has great prices,” said Camilo Escobar, vice president of Great Deals Distributions, Inc.

Escobar expects PPU to do better than Beau Monde in part because of its highly-accessible pricing. Beau Monde’s last collection was set at a wholesale range of $6.31 to $18.63 whereas PPU is set at a wholesale range of $4.40 to $7.70.

In fact, PPU is the most accessible brand in terms of pricing in comparison to Great Deals’ other brands, such as Clever and Pikante. Clever’s new collection ranges from $8.25 to $19 wholesale and Pikante ranges from $6.60 to $9.69 wholesale.
