(Filed Under wholesale Men's Underwear News). Gin & Tonic LLC, a division of manufacturer Ezrasons Inc., has signed an agreement with Xcel Brands Inc. giving Ezrasons the license to make and distribute Isaac Mizrahi Sport brand women’s athletic and performance apparel and men’s underwear.

Mizrahi, a designer, stylist and media personality known for his cosmopolitan style, has been active in the fashion industry for nearly 30 years. He regularly appears on the Bravo, Oxygen, Style and QVC television network, and his branded apparel lines are available at department and specialty stores across the United States.

“I am looking forward to partnering with Xcel Brands and Isaac Mizrahi on this innovative collection,” Ezra Jack Cattan of Gin & Tonic said in a statement. “Each garment will have colorful trims and details while maintaining performance properties. The unique and fresh designs will set this apart in the marketplace.”

The collection will hit upscale department stores in spring 2014.

New York-based Ezrasons was established in 1954 and manufactures underwear, loungewear, sleepwear, activewear and socks for national brands and private labels.

New York-based Xcel Brands is a consumer brand management company that acquired the Isaac Mizrahi labels in 2011.
