Awards at the The Intimate Apparel Square Club’s annual fund raiser. This year the gala was held at the 230 Fifth Penthouse in Manhattan.

The event provides funds for pediatric services at Rusk and Tisch Hospital, part of the Hassenfeld Pediatric Center at NYU Langone. The dinner had a jazz era theme, and dancer Josephine Baker’s son Jean-Claude Baker, owner of Chez Josephine, served as the emcee.

Attendees included (in alphabetical order): Lisa Aquillino, Jerry Baker (brother to Jean-Claude), Dorrit Bern, Camille Block, Courtney Bohler, Justin and Steve Chernoff, Walter Costello, Isaac Dabah, Todd Demakos, Greg and Richard Gimble, Jenny Hsieh, Pierre-Nicolas Hurstel, Steve Klein, Baby Pardo, Carol Pesiri, Tim Regan, Michael Roslin, Andrew and Mimi Sia and many others. A photo report of the event will be available soon in BODY.

According to the Square Club it has raised more than $5 million for programs at Rusk and Tisch. Those interested in making a donation to the NYU Langone Pediatric Services campaign may contact the club at 845-758-5752.

The Square Club was founded in1955 “with the mission of uniting professionals in intimate apparel and related industries as a charitable organization and to participate in activities that reflect positively on the membership...[which] includes management executives, designers and salespeople, among other professionals. Initially focused on charities for the blind and the elderly,” the club “broadened its scope over the years and today supports a variety of charitable organizations, with pediatric services at Rusk and Tisch Hospital, among other programs at NYU Langone Medical Center, being the primary beneficiaries of its fundraising.
