(Filed Under wholesale Hosiery News). Wearing shoes without socks is common for reasons of fit or fashion, but even if a shoe is designed to be worn without socks, sweat could ruin it. Notsocks were designed to keep wetness and odors at bay and shoes intact.
Machine washable Notsocks wrap around specially designed insoles that can be customized to a wearer’s foot size, then inserted into a pair of shoes. Notsocks are made from charcoal and sustainable bamboo, natural materials that are proven odor absorbers and have antibacterial and antifungal properties.
In addition to the Notsocks’ useful, eco-friendly properties, the insoles are made from partially recycled materials and can be fully recycled after use. Notsocks last for as long as “regular” socks and are available in grey and black for a retail price of $19.95.
“For years, going sockless always came at a price, namely smelly feet and damage to shoes,” Notsocks founder Kenny Sanders, a former professional athlete, said in a statement. “Other companies have tried to come up with ways for going sockless, but they never provide a permanent answer. Our socks can be tossed in the washing machine, and they last as long as regular socks. We’ve created the sockless solution!”
Notsocks was conceptualized and designed in Los Angeles and is now accepting preorders from retailers. More information is available via notsocks.com or info@notsocks.com.
