(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Genuine Czech glass and crystal beads from Mode Beads International add elegance, glamour and bling to apparel ranging from club and dancewear to swim and activewear, as well as ready-to-wear and intimate apparel.
Starting off in 1990 in the newly democratic Czech Republic with a small supply of beaded jewelry in the backseat of a rental car, Mode Beads has since expanded to a 10,000-square-foot stateside location with a two-floor showroom and a shipping center and warehouse containing up to 25,000 products that ship to large companies in the lingerie, apparel, jewelry and design industries, as well as enterprising individuals.
Experts at Mode can set up custom orders for companies and individuals, working with each client to create new and unique products and designs or to offer assistance with colors and trends. Mode can assist with logos, initials and corporate symbols.
Mode’s best sellers include Preciosa-brand crystals, of which it is an authorized dealer. Preciosa cystals are available in approximately 100 colors, 16 coatings and 50 sizes, in styles encompassing glue-on flatbacks to sew-on stones with single or double holes and a range of settings and backings.
According to Mode chief operating officer Toby Klein, Preciosa crystals “are substantially better-priced than Swarovski, yet consistently pass the “bling” test as having more glitz onstage.” Klein added that the crystals “have become an industry favorite for manufacturers of body and swimwear, posing suits, bodybuilding attire, evening wear,” and more.
Additionally, Mode offers over 300 original designs in rhinestone connectors, featuring dozens of colors in popular gold and silver settings. Klein says these products are taking the bodybuilding, positing and fitness industry by storm, as well as gaining in popularity in casual swimwear, better loungewear and fine evening gowns.
