(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Interfilière show organizer Eurovet has teamed up with Invista, owner of the Lycra fiber brand, to introduce Interfilière New York, a one-day event held from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 82 Mercer St. in Manhattan.

The one-day event aims to set up young designers and seasoned brands with face-to-face meetings with dozens of mills and accessory manufacturers headquartered in Europe, Asia and the Americas. The event invites brand production managers, merchandisers and designers to initiate discussions and collaborations with top international manufacturers in the intimate apparel, swimwear and activewear segments.

Building off the successful “Taste of Interfilière” event, held October 2013 in New York, the event will open with a meet-and-greet breakfast and a Eurovet presentation on fall/winter 2015-2016 fabric trends. Invista will present brand strategies and new fabric technologies. There will also be a Proexport Colombia luncheon to showcase Colombian textile and apparel trends and opportunities for investors in the industry.

Preregistered brands and mills participating include Aerie by American Eagle Outfitters, Bischoff Textil, Carole Hochman Designs, Coconut Grove Intimates, Delta Galil, Eberjey, Hanesbrands, Hanky Panky, Hyp Intimates, Karl Fleischmann, Komar Brands, Piave Maitex, Simplex Knitting, Target, Tory Burch, Urban Outfitters, Vanity Fair/Fruit of the Loom, Wacoal America and Yummie by Heather Thomson.
