Dream Lounge was founded in 2011 by two Russell-Newman alumnae, Paula Pereira, who had been president of that firm’s Willow Creek division, and Jenna Lowe, who had been director of marketing for the parent company. The Dream Lounge is both a loungewear blog, commenting on various aspect of the market, as well as a creator of sleepwear for “leading apparel providers” and owner of three of its own labels, White Orchid, Good Night Kiss and Cool Girl.
“We are thrilled to introduce our partnership with Dream Lounge,” said Milou Gwyn, VP of licensing at Jockey. “Their mission to ‘shake up sleepwear’ is aligned with Jockey’s commitment to continue providing on-trend product with the latest in apparel technology. We are excited to leverage their proven industry success for Jockey’s thermal business.”
According to the announcement, “The men’s and women’s thermal collections will feature innovative fabrics, such as their React Tech heat-generating technology - which uses Hollow Core yarns to trap heat - and Peak Performance which traps heat, wicks moisture, and features anti-microbial properties.” Included in the collections will be “traditional waffle thermals and Supersoft layering pieces to textured stretch microfleece for women and microfleece that wicks moisture for men. Bodies will range from traditional layering pieces to modern unionsuits and active one-pieces.”
