(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). A large contingent of intimate apparel and hosiery firms will be among the 550 apparel companies exhibiting at the upcoming Off-Price Show at the Sands Expo August 15 through 18 in Las Vegas.
“It’s not a coincidence that so many retailers have been in the news lately opening off-price store fronts,” said Stephen Krogulski, chief executive officer of the show. “Everyone wants to find an edge and additional ways to make money. The Off-Price Show is the source to land new apparel at prices so low you won’t find them anywhere else.”
The event said in its announcement that some apparel is offered at “prices often as low as 70% below wholesale.” The organizers claimed that “Booth space sold out in early July, and thanks to new additions to the floor, it will be the largest in show history in the important metrics of total exhibitors and net-square feet.”
Among the intimates wholesalers listed by the show are: Carrie Amber Intimates, which also goes under the name Seven ‘til Midnight; Charley Morgan; Dreamwear; Gina Group; Iberia Fashion; Icy Hot Lingerie/ Sensual; International Intimates; Intimateco; Jaylyn Sales; Lacy & Co.; Low & Sweet / Seven Lions; National Mills; Pajama Drama; Panties Plus, also known as PPI; Piege, of which Felina Lingerie is a brand; Saramax Apparel Group; Saroj International / Femina Lingerie; Seven Apparel Group; Sunshine Import International; and Under Where? Intimates.
In the hosiery category, the following brands will be exhibiting: K. Bell Socks; ABC Hosiery; Amiee Lynn; Planet Sox; Renfro Corporation; and U.S. Hosiery.
Show management reported, “There will be new booths and a new juice bar and health food area located outside of the show office at the August 2015 show.” In addition, “retailers will also have a greatly expanded footwear section to investigate. Off-Price expects 10 new footwear companies.”
Off-Price is a division of Tarsus Group plc (TRS.L on the London Stock Exchange), which describes itself as “an international media group with interests in exhibitions, conferences, publishing and the internet. Headquartered in Dublin, with offices in London, Paris, Shanghai and Milwaukee (home of Off-Price), Tarsus serves niche markets with trade events and online media.”
