(Filed Under wholesale Sleepwear News). Arthur, an upscale French men’s, women’s and children’s sleepwear and loungewear brand well known in Europe, is continuing to make a splash in the U.S. market.
The company plans to open two new stores this April: one in Los Angeles and one on Manhattan’s Bleeker street. They currently operate two stores in Manhattan, one in the Plaza hotel and one on the Upper East Side, as well as a third store in the Westchester Mall in Westchester, New York. Retail prices run from $50 for boxer shorts to $300 for select robes.
Additionally the company is expanding their wholesale operations in the United States with the recent launch of their fall/winter 2009 collection. Pieces include pajamas, loungewear and robes running at wholesale prices ranging from approximately $40 to $80. For this collection, they have gone back to their designs upon the company’s start in 1984. As in past collections, prints including strips and plaids are very prominent.
Arthur is French company with operations in New York City. Soltek Inc. is responsible for their North American wholesale operations. For further information, call Marie Odile Berard, president of Soltek, at (917) 226-5140.
