New Happenings at Tush

(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Tush Ltd. has entered its third year of business by launching new swimwear and lingerie styles, revamping its website, hiring a new sales manager and more.

The new swimwear line is comprised of 14 styles in addition to four complementing styles such as the wrap dresses and hoodies.

This year, Cheema has added polka dots, animal prints for lingerie, diamond prints and a plaid schoolgirl-style print for swimwear, which she says has been “extremely popular.”

The swimwear is available in sizes XS through XL and ranges from $17 to $24 wholesale for bottoms and $23 to $29 wholesale for tops.

For lingerie, Cheema is launching approximately 30 styles under its three labels: Love Tush, Kiss Tush and Spank Tush.

Cheema explains that Love Tush, which runs at $6 wholesale, is more suitable for a first date since you need a “comfortable aura for that.” Kiss Tush, wholesaling at $7, is for when you “might be expecting more of an exciting date,” and Spank Tush, is “our very serious date line,” which wholesales at $9.

Currently, the lingerie lines do not include bras, but rather tops that feature cup sizes A through D. “We will be starting bras eventually,” said Cheema. She also hopes to add FF as a cup size. “There is a need for the bigger cup and the smaller back,” she said.

In additional news, the company has recently made the decision to begin manufacturing products in Nevada due to a recent stunt at the airport before Cheema arrived at February’s CurveNV show. “My samples got laid up at customs,” explained Cheema. As a result, she sat at her booth without any products available for showing. “I put up a bunch of posters and ended up making some great contacts,” she said. “We were able to place some orders and that is how I got in contact with the new sales manager.” Cheema hired Rodney Lawrence to be her New York sales manager.

Production for Canada will continue to be done in Canada.

Additionally, Tushltd.com is currently under a “complete overhaul,” said Cheema. She deemed the new website as having a “hard hitting edge never seen before in this industry,” and hopes to have it up and running by May.

“The image is rock and roll cool [and] this is the image I’ve been wanting to reflect for so long and I’ve finally found someone who knows what I’m talking about,” Cheema said of Steve Zabynec, her new web designer. Additionally, Cheema has partnered up with Stephane Kossman, a photographer who has been involved in the Cannes Film Festival and both CurveNV and NY, who is collaborating with her on the her style images. “Coming July, Stephane will be launching his own film festival in the south of France,” said Cheema.

In addition to Tushltd.com, which will be strictly informational catering to wholesale buyers in North America, Cheema is also launching Tushltd.com.au, which will be set up for e-commerce.
