(Filed Under Technology News). Gerber Technology, a business unit of $640 million corporation Gerber Scientific, Inc, revamped its webFolio solution and has launched webFolio 2.0 featuring an intuitive interface and enhancements for design and development professionals.

“With webFolio 2.0, we’ve added and enhanced highly desirable features while simultaneously making the interface more intuitive and the overall product more flexible,” said Elizabeth King, director of software applications for Gerber Technology. “Designers can easily and effectively organize and create content, as well as input ideas and designs created with the most widely used third party design tools. The software transforms the design environment into structured collections with design plans, styles and storyboards incorporating images, sketches or photographs.”

An additional feature includes large scale printing.

The new application is also compatible with Gerber’s webPDM product.
