(Filed Under Fashion News). Retailer Kohl’s will open 11 new locations across the country this month, making its debut in Alaska.

In addition to the 11 locations, Kohl’s also opened eight stores in March, creating 3,000 jobs within the 19 locations. Each new store represents 130 to 150 jobs.

April openings include: Alaska, Arizona, California, three in Florida, North Carolina, two in New Jersey, New York and one in Utah.

In March Kohl’s opened locations in Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, New Hampshire, Texas and Utah.

In total, Kohl’s operates 1,022 stores in 49 states.
