(Filed Under wholesale Shapewear News). “Femininity, functionality and groundbreaking technology,” are just a few words that have been used to describe MMK Brands’ two new supportive shapewear collections launched for the spring season: the Best Supporting and the Double Feature collections.
Both collections have been developed as a part of MMK’s Bonded for Life initiative in which each garment is made from two bonded layers of sew-free technology fabric to ensure strength, durability and support while eliminating lines with ultra-sonic cutting techniques.
“We want to fill the gap in the shapewear market with a fun, modern collection that not only does the job, but also offers more than body shaping qualities,” said Morgan Harbin, VP and director of design. “Wearing a body shaper shouldn’t mean sacrificing styles and confidence and certainly shouldn’t make you more uncomfortable.”
NanoFresh, an antibacterial deodorizer that combines Nanotechnology with Photocatalyst technology, is infused into the yarn that is used in the production of garments in each collection. The fabrics are also treated with moisture-wicking technology.
For the Best Supporting collection, styles are available in sizes XS through XL in nude, tan, black, red and gray. Retail price points range from $24 to $46 for panties, $66 to $76 for bottoms and $68 for camis and bras.
The Double Feature collection is comprised of five individual versatile styles that are reversible and feature two color options. According to the company, the styles may also be worn as layering pieces, loungewear or outerwear for the gym, tennis court, running errands around town etc.
Double feature is available in sizes XS through XL in nude/white, black/red, black/brown and pink/zinc. Retail price points range from $72 to $184 for tops and $66 to $84 for bottoms.
MMK’s products are currently available at a wide variety of U.S. retailers including New York-based Linda’s and California-based Michelle B. MMK also has additional selling points in Australia and Puerto Rico.see more
