(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Ame Nue Intimates is an Australian label, established in 2018 by Mira Vukovic and Pollyanna McNutt, designers with over 40 years experience between them. The collection will exhibit at its first U.S. trade show, Curve, in New York this February.

“We produce limited collections of high-quality lingerie and boudoir loungewear, using the finest natural fibers,” Vukovic told BODY, adding that the most of the pieces are sewn in the “local community here in Sydney, Australia. We concentrate on small scale production, being aware of the materials we use and how much we produce. Keeping it close to home.”

“Ame Nue translates to Naked Soul in French. It exudes a gentle kind of sensuality, crafted delicately from fine French silk overlaid with notes of lace and femininity.”

“We are sold in Australian boutiques, online and with an Australian online retailer.” The line has not been available, to date, in the U.S. or Canada.

The current collection is named, “after our brand, Naked Soul. This collection is a celebration of independent female strength, the power and appeal of raw sensual vulnerability. This range honors the woman who lets her confidence unashamedly shine through.”

Vukovic explained that 35 styles are offered, “including French knickers (panties), panties, bralettes, robes, sheer dresses, slip dresses, sleep sets, bodysuits and teddies. The majority of our range uses silk and leavers French lace. U.S. sizing: 2 - 12.” Suggested retail prices for North America range from $170 for a “100% engineered digital printed sleep short” up to “$450 for incredibly intricate silk satin dresses and robes with French laces.”

During the trip to Curve, the designer continued, “we want to identify boutiques that are aligned with our brand ethos, natural and sustainable luxury, that have a sense of differentiation in the way they retail and have a strong customer focus and online presence. Ideally partnering with like-minded retailers and building on those relationships, with the potential of creating exclusives for our aligned wholesale partners.”
