(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). The relaunch of the famous Huit lingerie brand has been going well. Souad Sinia, the label’s new French born owner, has been “very pleased with the retailer reaction to the collection.”
Sinai, who also owns the Absolutely Lingerie distributorship, acquired Huit last year, vowing to restore it to its former prominence. Many key elements of the collection were brought back and the line will begin shipping in March. Included are several original designs, all using the same factory that has produced Huit over the past 16 years, as well as the same Huit designer, Marie Courteault.
“Luxury retailers from around the world have placed orders for the Continuity collections, Essentiel and Arpege,” Sinai told BODY. “These collections have been at the core of Huit’s success for many years and were recently shown at the lingerie shows in Paris and New York.”
She added that the first parts of the Huit Fashion Collection will ship in July. These include two groups, Pretty Retro and Minuit.
Sinai described Pretty Retro: “Graphic floral pattern embroidery softly resting on the skin. We like the refined “teardrop” detail that embellishes the range. Timeless Blackberry and a fashion forward Tropical Green color. Available in Soft Bra running XS to XL, Balconnet Bra with underwire running B-E.” This group offers “both a thong and classic brief XS-XL.”
She described Minuit: “A guipure lace line with stars design, associated with a soft and comfortable fabric, enhanced with a pleated bow. Golden for a fashion forward look. Available in a Soft Bra XS - L and Underwire Bra B-E. Minuit has both a thong XS-L and low waisted panty XS - XL.”
