(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). With stores reopening across North America, and shoppers looking for something new, Shapeez is ready with the latest addition to its collection of back-smoothing bras: the Comfeez Racerback bralette.
“The racerback design gives our customers yet another option. It’s perfect for yoga and exercising, where you need freedom of arm movement, and don’t want to worry about the straps slipping off the shoulders,” explained CFO and co-owner David Berner. “For many women this is a bra that they can wear all day, out and about, shopping, not just in the gym.”
“As with all our bras, the Comfeez Racerback will never squeeze, pinch or bind,” added co-owner and CEO Staci Berner. “If feels like a second skin. You may even forget you’re wearing it.” The designer launched Shapeez over a decade ago, and has gradually added new bras, all utilizing a patented design concept that eliminates the look of bulges and back fat, while at the same time providing full bra support and slimming and shaping benefits.
The new Comfeez bralettes features no clasps or closures, are front adjustable with no-fall straps, and are made with a moisture wicking fabric imported from Italy.
David Berner explained that the new Racerback, along with all the Comfeez bralettes, “retails for a lower price than our original bras because they do not contain wires or a sewn in cup. The fact that there are fewer sizes in the Comfeez line, and a lower price means that it is much easier for stores to start doing business with Shapeez than ever before.” He added that the Racerback bralette should prove particularly popular with younger women, “and will expand the age range of our consumers.”
Unlike many bra companies, Shapeez produces all its designs in North America. “This means we were not affected by shipping delays, unexpected tariffs or sudden price increases,” pointed out CFO Berner. “And we carry a huge inventory at all times. This means we are always ready to ship to stores as soon as the orders arrive.”
