(Filed Under Fashion News). Juicy Couture plans to open their first intimate apparel store, House of Juicy, this June in Las Vegas’ Caesar’s Palace.
According to the company, the shop will carry all of the company’s intimates’ line consisting of sleepwear, loungewear, robes, and basic and graphic-printed bralettes, panties and boyshorts. Retail prices for their intimates range from $14 for panties to $125 for terry robes. Sleep and loungewear runs from approximately $40 to $95.
Juicy Couture’s co-founders and creative directors, Gela Nash-Taylor and Pamela Skaist-Levy, described their inspiration for the company’s relatively new intimates category.
“We wanted to create beautiful, feminine basics that felt soft and buttery to the touch of the skin,” Nash-Taylor explained. Skaist-Levy added: “These pieces are a perfect fit for a California lifestyle.”
The company, which currently operates 61 retail locations nationwide, plans to end the year 2009 with a total of 66 stand-alone stores in the United States. Abroad they plan to open one new retail location in London and 10 in Asia. The company currently operates a total of 93 stores with 27 overseas in locations including Italy, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia and Dubai.
