(Filed Under wholesale Lingerie News). Claudel Lingerie reported several successful recent initiatives, ranging from the successful launches of branded lingerie collections to various new private label programs.
The company’s Anny-Claude Lapierre noted that the firm will be showing its lines at its New York showroom at the end of July and the start of August, as well as in Montreal during the Montreal Fashion Week this September.
Claudel Lingerie’s complete offering includes robes, gowns, pajamas, baby dolls, camisoles, long sleeve tops, zippered indoor coats, loungewear and gift sets, in a wide range of solids and prints. House brands include Comfort & Co, Casual Moments, Midnight Maddie and the new Made in Montreal collection of lounge and activewear basics, “sourced in California and produced in Montreal.” Samples from the latest groups will be on display in New York, and are available for order now.
Following the “great success we had with our gift packages last holiday season, we’ve expanded the line, and added about four new groups in this category for FW22,” continued Lapierre. “The gift sets bundle multiple sleepwear and accessory items in single package at great value pricing.”
Claudel has also had repeated success producing various private label programs of lingerie, sleepwear and loungewear for retailers, large and small. “We produced a beautiful wish wrap group for one medium sized lingerie chain in the U.S., that will be available in their stores as of October/November 2022. And we have done many, ongoing programs for Hudson Bay here in Canada.”
Claudel also works with single location shops. “We recently did a wonderful line of apparel for Pub Saint-Pierre, a popular bar in the Old Port of Montreal, which won an award for the best bar in 2021.”
