(Filed Under wholesale Sleepwear News). Komar Co., an intimate apparel company that markets and distributes women’s sleepwear, loungewear, bras and lingerie, has reportedly acquired Chicago-based intimates company O’Bryan Brothers, Inc.
Founded in 1908, Komar’s portfolio of brands include Liz Claiborne, Planet Sleep, Earth Angels, Eileen West, Aria and Lanz of Salzburg.
Founded in 1921, O’Bryan Brothers, Inc. designs and manufactures women’s intimate apparel including warm underwear, thermal underwear, camisoles, bra tops and daywear. Among its portfolio of brands is the long-established Cuddl Duds.
Mark Sandler, formerly senior vice president of sales and marketing at O’Bryan Bros., has reportedly been named as president of the Cuddl Duds division at Komar.
